Breakaway Cruises was a great cruise to take. Our dinner and drinks were good. The captain and crew were very knowledgeable on sea life, Port of Brownsville, the ships on the channel, etc. We saw a lot of dolphins that swam along with us through the channel. I would definitely recommend going on this cruise. It is for any age. Do bring a jacket and blanket if it is a bit chilly out. We had seats on the 2nd level so we could be in the sun and see further.

Had an awesome time. The captain and first mate were totally awesome, laid-back. They took us to their sweet spot and everyone on the boat bagged the limit within an hour and twenty minutes. I highly recommend them for their deep sea fishing experience. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks breakaway cruises for a great fishing trip and a really awesome birthday.

Ricky with the jet ski tour was amazing!My little family of four rented out 2 two seaters and had such a blast with our children. He was excellent a explaining in a simple way to not overwhelm us. He was funny and enthusiastic. He even got us up close and personal with dolphins!! It was an incredible and magical experience for us and our favorite thing we’ve done on our trip!10/10 would recommend and do again.

Wonderful experience for Bay fishing trip. Fishing under moon is so peaceful and pleasant. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Our first mate helped my daughter get her first fish ever. Memorable moment. It was a great pity we didn't realize we can tip our staff, so we didn't bring much change. I feel so sorry for this.

Went on the deep sea fishing charter. I must first say, you have picked the best captain to work for you. He was a phenomenal captain. He was energetic, engaging and made the trip great. He took us to the perfect spot for fishing. Everyone on the boat caught their limit of fish very quickly. It was very exciting. A few of us in our party unfortunately got sea sick and he was very kind about it. On our way back to the dock, we had a wonderful dolphin show. The captain also offers to breakdown the fish for you, which was such a blessing as we are here on vacation. Our captain suggested a place to take the fish, that would prepare it for dinner (Joe's Oyster Bar). So glad we listened because it was amazing. From start to finish, this day is one we will remember forever.

The Dolphin Cruise & Eco Tour was wonderful! They loaded the boat quickly and had us on the water in no time. They still had a catch from the earlier eco tour, so we got to experience those creatures on our way out to the dolphins (this gave us more dolphin time). We went to 2 different dolphin spots and saw many swimming in both places. The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable!

6/27/2022 we took the Dolphin Cruise & 6/28 the Firework Cruise!!! It was amazing. The crew Joseph Lee, Daniel & JJ did an incredible job of not only making sure we were all hydrated but entertained & gave us all kinds of knowledge! They made the trip a memorable adventure. They are an asset to your business!!! Thank you guys…your the best!!!

Daniel was really great with our kids and was also knowledgeable about the sea life they pulled into the boat! I think we had the most fun talking with these guys and the dolphins were just a bonus. We will return! JJ was great too!

We had the best time on our fireworks cruise. Captain Joe Lee and first mate JJ were both absolutely amazing. They went out of their way to treat my son with down syndrome wonderfully. Made sure every kid on the boat had the best time! We also saw plenty of dolphins on our cruise. It was the best time in Padre.

Took my family for a snorkeling trip and we had a great time! Greg and Ceasar were our guides and they kept the trip interesting and had everyone laughing! Would definitely go again next time I visit the island. Thank you for a fun day.

We went snorkeling for the first time out here. The boat ride was amazing and so were the crew Greg and Caesar. We went in June and the water was a little murky but other than that we had a blast. Highly recommend this!

Breakaway is a first class operation. I was so pleased with the cruise to honor the final voyage of the USS Kitty Hawk. The arrival was delayed but our amazing Captain Joe Bryant showed us many interesting sites. Pods of dolphin, bird island and Space X. And when she finally arrived he was able to get us very close so we could see how the tugs controlled her. The entire crew was great.

The Dolphin tour was great! Captain and crew were amazing and it was a good time. Same people for Bay fishing. Great crew but the fishing was no good that day. Cap did all he could to get us on the fish but it was just too windy and choppy. We will be back!Update: 2 years later, we came back. Had to reschedule twice due to big gusts and storms. Cap got us on some fish and my sister caught a 60 pound sting ray. Very cool! Still nice folks. Falling short on the 8am cancelation calls though. We had to show up both days for answers. Had a great time.

We went on the 2 pm snorkeling adventure on 05/11/2022. One of our crew member's name was Ivan and I can't remember the others. They were great! Fun, entertaining and very knowledgeable. I am 75 years old and had never tried snorkeling before. They took such good care of me. Everyone on board had a great time and interacted like long time friends. Definitely recommend this trip and this crew.

The Easter fireworks cruise was awesome. We saw a lot of dolphin, the sunset was incredible and being on the water is definitely the best place to view the fireworks. The chicken fajita dinner was great with fajitas, rice, beans, and fruit and beverages included. Jeff and the rest of the crew made sure we had everything we needed. The bathrooms were clean. The Getaway is definitely the best boat for these type of trips. I recommend Breakaway for all their trips.

The water was amazing!! The captain was funny and knowledgeable... I'd definitely go out again. Didn't see many Dolphins though
